Damien Pavek

November 2020

A few weeks ago, Damien lost control of the right side of his face. After running further testing he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor called DIPG. There is currently no effective treatment for this type of tumor and has a zero percent survival rate.

Damien has been such a strong little boy and has had 5 radiation treatments so far with his last treatment on October 23rd to give him a few more months with his family. But the outcome is inevitable. His little brother will have to grow up without his older brother, his parent's Terri and Dylan will have to celebrate these next holidays knowing it will be his last. And if that's not hard enough, Damien made his last wish (with Make a Wish Foundation) over zoom this week for a French Bulldog puppy.

How do you prepare for the last days of your child's life? How do you continue to work a full time job and home school his little brother and still make sure there is dinner on the table all the while trying to remain a sense of "normalcy" for this sweet little boy.

I am asking anyone and everyone to please donate anything they can, even the smallest amount for this little boy and his family. And say a prayer for him because we are needing a miracle today.
