Cole’s Story

In 2012, Cole Hexum was diagnosed with Stage IV Burkitt’s Leukemia just ten days before his 8th birthday. Team Cole was set up by friends and family to raise money for Cole’s extensive medical expenses.

By February of 2013, Cole had his cancer beat. Because of the generous outpouring of support he received during his cancer battle, he wanted to use Team Cole to help other families with a child fighting cancer. Team Cole continued its mission, starting with families he’d met during his months in the hospital.

Today our plan is simple. We make a monthly donation to families in need, and add our community of support to theirs.

Our main fundraising event is a yearly silent auction. Past auctions have been tremendously successful, in large part due to the donations made from the community. We also have a yearly poker party and bingo event. 100% of our earnings go towards our mission!

When someone has cancer, the whole family and everyone who loves them does too.

Beers from Kona Brewery, Redhook, and Widmer Brothers.
